ENGAGEMENT SESSION PRO TIPS
WHAT TO WEAR, Dress up- like it’s a date night! Always, dress comfortably! Whatever you are wearing make sure you can move around. SIDE NOT: travel lightly. Don’t bring a bags, and totes, bring as little as possible so that we can walk and move freely without much holding us back. AVOID, flips flops, shorts, shirts with large logos, stripes.
DON’T RUSH. This time together is great, I enjoy getting to know you- this is why I do what I do. We might shoot for an hour, we might shoot for three. Enjoy the process, and the time spent together.
BE VULNERABLE. be yourselves, and don’t hold back. I want you to act like you would if I wasn’t there. Be honest with each other and let me into your space. I want to capture you at your best, and I can’t do that if it isn’t real.
TRAVEL LIGHT Don’t bring a ton of crap! Travel lightly, so you can walk around freely without having to lug big bags around. Stick to the basics. I will try to help if I can (keys and phones) but I am already lugging around my gear.. lol sooo.
MAKE IT A DATE! I want the session to be fun, and not something you feel like you have to do. You guys should go out before hand and grab a bite/ drinks. I want you to show up with full hearts and ready to have a good time
LETS GO ON AN ADVENTURE. I feel like your images should be in a spot that you both love, or feel a connection to. This could be in your home, a park, the beach, a coffee shop. No matter the setting, the most important element is you.
