Tampa Bay Wedding Venues
Where your story unfolds…
Tampa’s wedding venues are as diverse and stunning as the love stories they host.
As a Tampa-based photographer who has captured hundreds of weddings across the region, I know these venues intimately. I understand how light moves through each space throughout the day, which angles showcase architectural details best, and where to find those perfect, quiet moments for portraits. This knowledge transforms into photographs that don’t just document your day, they elevate it.
The venue you choose shapes your entire wedding experience and photography timeline. I try to be extremely intentional in my work, looking for lines, shapes and colors and connecting all of these outside elements with people. While I do capture in the moment photos and candid photos, I am always looking to put my couples against different backdrops and textures.
My approach to wedding photography complements Tampa’s most beautiful venues perfectly. I capture the grandeur of your chosen space while focusing on the intimate moments that make your day uniquely yours. Whether you’re drawn to outdoor ceremonies under ancient oak trees or elegant ballroom receptions, I work with each venue’s character to create images that feel both timeless and authentic.

Armature Works
Industrial elegance meets waterfront beauty
Armature Works stands as one of Tampa’s most photographically stunning venues, and it’s become one of my absolute favorites to work with. This transformed power plant combines industrial architecture with waterfront views, creating a backdrop that’s both dramatic and romantic.
The venue’s soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light throughout the day. Those windows frame Tampa’s downtown skyline and the Hillsborough River, giving us multiple backdrop options without ever leaving the building. The industrial elements (exposed brick, steel beams, polished concrete) add texture and depth to every image.
What makes Armature Works exceptional for photography is its versatility. The main event space works beautifully for ceremonies with guests overlooking the water, while the various nooks and terraces provide intimate spaces for portraits. The rooftop offers 360-degree views of Tampa, perfect for sunset couple’s photos that showcase the city you’re celebrating in.
I’ve photographed numerous weddings here, and each one feels completely different based on how couples style the space. The neutral industrial palette serves as a perfect canvas for any color scheme or design aesthetic. Whether you’re planning a minimalist celebration or a lush, floral-filled reception, Armature Works adapts beautifully while maintaining its distinctive character.

SoireEstate at SB Nursery & Gardens
A Hidden Garden Sanctuary
There is something genuinely magical about arriving at SoireEstate for the first time. Tucked away in Lutz just north of Tampa, this sprawling farm and garden property earns the word sanctuary in the truest sense. The moment you cross the arched wooden bridge onto the grounds, the rest of the world drops away entirely.
Multiple distinct spaces flow across the estate, from an oak-canopied outdoor ceremony patio strung with globe lights, to a fully enclosed white pavilion with soaring wooden ceilings that serves as a beautiful blank canvas for reception styling. Lush tropical foliage throughout the property creates the kind of layered, textured backdrops that make portrait work feel effortless and genuinely editorial.
What I love most about shooting here is the variety within a single property. Whether the ceremony is intimate or the guest list stretches into the hundreds, there is always a quiet corner, a moss-draped tree, or a garden wall to work with. The warm lighting at night gives every reception image that soft, romantic quality that feels timeless rather than trendy. If you are drawn to organic beauty, garden romance, and a venue that feels like a true destination even though it is only twenty minutes from Tampa, SoireEstate belongs on your shortlist.

Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay
Waterfront Luxury with Endless Options
The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is one of those venues that solves problems before they happen. Spread across 35 acres of Tampa Bay waterfront with a private beach, a boat dock, and multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces, it offers the kind of flexibility that keeps every part of your day feeling intentional rather than logistically forced. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all flow within a single stunning property, which means your guests never lose the thread of the day.
The Skylark Ballroom on the 14th floor is the showpiece, with expansive windows that frame the bay below and a west-facing terrace that delivers some of the most reliably breathtaking sunset views of any venue in the Tampa market. The flow between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces is seamlessly designed, which translates directly into a photography timeline that actually works.
From a photography standpoint, the Grand Hyatt is one of the most forgiving venues around. The waterfront property and docks create incredible portrait opportunities, and the hotel’s variety of interior spaces means that even on a rainy Florida afternoon, there is no shortage of genuinely beautiful locations to work with. Beach ceremony, rooftop terrace, grand ballroom, private boardwalk: one property, one day, and dozens of completely different images

The Vinoy Renaissance
St. Petersburg
Old Florida glamour on St. Petersburg’s waterfront, with its iconic pink Mediterranean Revival architecture. One of Tampa’s most beloved spaces for good reason. The glass conservatory, the grand reading room, and the warm layered interiors lend a European aesthetic that is unlike anything else in the market. It photographs like a dream at every time of day.

The Fenway Hotel
Dunedin
Boutique character and coastal charm in Pinellas County. Its rooftop terrace, vintage-inspired interiors, and proximity to the waterfront make it a favorite for couples who want something intimate and distinctly their own.

Beyond Tampa Bay
Destinations
My experience extends far beyond Tampa Bay to venues throughout Florida and beyond.
Whether you’re planning an intimate Key West celebration, a sophisticated St. Pete wedding, or a destination event in New York, I bring the same level of venue knowledge and preparation to every location. Florida destination weddings offer incredible variety, from the tropical beauty of the Keys to the historic charm of St. Augustine, from beachfront resorts to vineyard estates in central Florida.
Key West weddings provide that relaxed island aesthetic with stunning sunset opportunities almost guaranteed. The architecture, natural beauty, and laid-back atmosphere create a distinctive backdrop that feels like a vacation for everyone involved.
My New York experience brings a different perspective. Whether you’re planning a Hudson Valley celebration, an urban wedding in the city, or an upstate venue celebration, I understand how different regions require different approaches to timeline, lighting, and logistics.
