Weddings are not all fun and games…except for Alex and Collin’s St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club wedding. These two put their heart and soul into designing a wedding that was just SO MUCH FUN! Where do I even begin?

I mean, between the shuffleboard matches, gourmet whoopie pies, and the vintage Volkswagen van-turned-photo booth, everyone at the wedding was totally spoiled. Including me!! For real, now I can add “professional sports photographer” to my resume.

Okay, jokes aside (for now). Alex and Collin somehow managed to strike the *perfect* balance between fun and elegance on their special day.

When guests weren’t spinning on the dance floor or getting into shuffleboard duels, they were enjoying decadent treats on beautifully decorated rustic tables. Cascading vines, fresh eucalyptus branches, white and blush-colored flowers embellished every surface.

And, of course, as a wedding photographer, I was MEGA impressed by the attention to color.

The same foresty greens, pale pinks, and creamy tones of the shuffleboard courts were mirrored in all of the details and décor. The seafoam-colored Volkswagen van, Collin’s emerald jacket, the bridesmaids’ rosy dresses. Even the sprinkles on the sugar cookies were color-coordinated! I could have cried tears of joy. Maybe I did.

Alex and Collin, if your wedding and reception is any indication, I just know you two have many years of fun, adventures, and happiness ahead of you!
