How did the two of you meet- what’s your story?
Glenn and Jac met in 2010. Her first impression of him was that he highly resembled the weird brother from the movie Wedding Crashers. He had a rainbow Mohawk, snakes, and video games. His mom was making him a plate of chicken nuggets, because he didn’t eat any Christmas foods. He was in desperate need of a makeover, which happened to be Jac’s specialty. A few weeks later, we had a birthday party for Glenn called “Glennfest 2011” and at that party, the friendship was born. The years that followed were a blur of Jersey Shore living.
Nightly par- ties, fun with friends, and waaaaay too many hangovers. Glenn and Jac spent nearly every day together and supported each other through all the craziness that this lifestyle would in- evitably bring. People would always speculate that there was more going on between them but it simply wasn’t true. They were just BFFs. In May of 2012, Jac, Glenn, Bunni, and Rob took a week-long vacation to Miami. It was the most fun ever. Bun- ni and Rob had been waiting for the two to “finally admit that they were in love.” Finally, Bunni suggested that the boys go for a walk and that Rob should “casually bring it up.” During a literal beer run through the flooded streets of South Beach, Rob turned to Glenn and said, “You really have a thing for Jac, don’t you?” And Glenn responded, “Yes, I guess I do.” Rob then advised Glenn that he better hurry up and make a move because Jac’s irresistible beauty and charm (wink) was surely in high demand.
Enter Peter:
the British hunk of every woman’s dreams. He showed a general interest in Jac. He and his friends spent the day with Jac and Glenn’s group, then joined them for an evening out to a trendy nightclub in a private limousine. During the night while Peter was courting Jac, Glenn asked him to the bar. While at the bar, Glenn explained to Peter that he and Jac had been friends for years and that until now, he did not realize his feelings were so strong.
According to Glenn, the memories of the night are fuzzy but he can recall Peter’s response: “I understand com pletely. That’s your girl she just doesn’t know it yet.” Few facts are known about how that evening ended. What is certain is that there was a teepee, a canoe, and an in- tense discussion about how Glenn was absolutely trying to ruin their friendship. Luckily, after six years of building a life together, Jac and Glenn still call each other best friends.
