Why did you choose the venue you did?
I lived in the Bronx and Paul lived in Brooklyn when we started dating. I lived in walking distance of the New York Botanical Garden and took Paul there early on in our relationship. We returned frequently throughout our relationship, even after moving in together in Queens.
Your details? Why did you choose them, what was your thought process?
I instantly knew I wanted to incorporate blue as a color, since Paul and I both love it. But I wanted something a little more dynamic than plain navy. I decided on periwinkles and blue/purple colors to incorporate with classic pinks and whites to bring out the botanical theme.
