How did you two meet/love story?
Drew & I met online through hinge. We bonded over our love of records and wine. We finally met in person at a wine bar in Cincinnati where we talked for hours about life. Drew kept asking very deep questions, not typical first date questions, things like “what’s your biggest weakness”. Drew and I compliment each other and bring out the best in each other. We both have adventurous spirits and a deep love for family.
Why did you choose the venue you did?
Drew & I have such fond memories of Florida – we took one of our first vacations there and it’s where Drew realized he wanted to spend his life with me. I also have so many fond memories of Florida with my family and with my dad who is no longer with us. He loved Casey Key and shared that love with us. What better place to get married with just our families
Your details? Why did you choose them, what was your thought process?
Still working on this – We needed to get married quickly so we could move to the UK together. Rather than going to the courthouse – we wanted to make this more special. Drew and I invited our immediate family and our best friends to join for this small “back-yard” wedding.
Any advice for other couples getting married?!
Enjoy it! Planning a wedding can be stressful but be sure to enjoy it and plan a day you will enjoy without stressing about the opinions of everyone else who will attend.
